AIM Research Community Proposal

This form will allow you to propose a Research Community to be hosted by the American Institute of Mathematics (AIM). For full consideration the deadline is November 1, 2026.

Whenever possible, your list should include faculty at primarily undergraduate institutions and researchers who work outside of academia. Please indicate these potential invitees with (U) and (I) in the list.

Please provide at least one and no more than three MSC subject codes for the area(s) of the workshop.

Description *

Please take 3 pages or so to describe your proposed community.

Submit a PDF file containing a description of your proposed Research Community. Please avoid extensive formatting tricks, such as headers, footers, large or unusual fonts, or narrow margins, as these may cause difficulties when your PDF is combined into a single document with the other proposals.

Note that there is no specific page limit, but taking much more than 3 pages plus references is unlikely to be viewed positively by the Scientific Board.
